Immersive by Becky Moynihan, Book Three in The Elite Trials Trilogy

Today is the highly-anticipated release of the last book in The Elite Trials by my dear friend, Becky Moynihan! I’ve been anticipating this book ever since finishing book two, Adaptive, and let me just say that Becky did not disappoint with this one!

In Immersive, we follow Lune Avery in her dystopian world as she fights for the one thing she’s been searching for since circumstances landed her inside the walls of the Supreme Elite’s twisted city: Freedom.

This book answered so many questions I’ve had throughout the series. Throughout previous books, we were introduced to mutated beasts in the trials themselves, and also in Lune’s charger, a mutated horse meant to be stronger, faster, and (let’s be honest) scarier than its original form. And we get a peek at just how terrible the Supreme Elite’s plans are for his city and its citizens. The questions about the loyalty of both Ryker and Bren are not only questioned, but proven.

Also very important, we get to spend so much time with important supporting characters like Ryker, Bren, Asher, Bells, Jaxon, and so many more. The dynamic between characters was something I really enjoyed about this book. So much happened, and it was fun to see how well they all assembled as one team.

Overall, I’m just really happy to know the rest of Lune Avery’s story. It’s been amazing to watch Becky grow as an author since book one, and I can’t wait to see where her stories take us next.

Happy Reading!

Jessica
